Pete's Gig Guide is a guide to the gigs of Birmingham, UK as filtered by Pete Ashton. This is not a comprehensive guide to the live music scene in the city for such a thing would be tedious beyond life itself. This is a snapshot taken through the prejudiced and blinkered eyes of Pete. So if you think your tastes overlap mine then you should pay attention. And the opposite also applies.
You're welcome to ">email me flyers if you think I'll be interested but no promises. You can also befriend me on MySpace and dump flyers there but to be honest I only check it once a week, if that. Life is too short.
Until October 07 this was known as BrumBlog (hence the URL) and covered all manner of Birmingham stuff. It doesn't anymore but the archives are still there.

Sounds a bit like Gabba, the Rammones-eque ABBA tribute. Also sounds very good.
It's a shame Shabba Ranks doesn't do dancehall Abba covers.
When you start following the Friends lists for these bands you really do enter a world of pain. Lez Zepelin? Black Fag? The Red Stripes?
Oww!
